BIG FUEL PRICE ROLLBACK SEEN THIS WEEK

Fuel prices are set for a significant rollback this week, with diesel projected to drop by P20.89 per liter, gasoline by P4.43, and kerosene by P8.50, according to Energy Secretary Sharon Garin on Sunday.

The Department of Energy said the adjustments, effective April 14 to 20, are based on the average of international prices over the past five days compared with the previous week.

Garin noted that actual pump prices may vary by station but described the estimates as the minimum rollback, even as she warned that ongoing Middle East conflict may keep fuel prices from returning to previous lows.
