Manila-based punk rock band bringing together former members of the seminal punk outfit HUH! for a louder, sharper return to form. Led by visual artist Ronald Caringal (vocals/guitar) alongside Nelson Dorol (bass), Rowel Samarita (drums), and Sean Dorol (guitar), the band delivers a high-energy blend of garage, punk, and classic rock influences.
Formed in 2022, they released their first album “I’m Your Dog” digitally on June 2024 .

Anong Meron (that’s What’s Up?) in Tagalog. This is MirceONE and today I bring you an awesome band from The Philippines: Ah_F_Kit. To be honest besides another band called Abanglupa I do not know too many bands from Philippines, this band, a friend of mine Carol recommended and now is on repeat. I’m Your Dog has 12 songs (30 minutes) in the old school punk and rock’n’roll with catchy and sing along choruses and must say love the artwork, everything DIY and simple. Remind me of the Ramones with a mix of Dead Kennedys (special on the song Bills or Fog Of War). No effects, just punk rock the way should be. The album is kind of fresh from the Summer of this year and it is on streaming on all the platforms from YouTube, Spotify, Last Fm or Amazon Music, so check them out. The album is produced by MonoPond Records and it is in English. salamat po (or how they say in Tagalog, Thank you).

ah_f_kit! Is a rock n’ roll band based in Manila, Philippines. Consisting of members from the local crowd favorites and seminal punk band HUH!, they have once again come together to deliver their own brand of raucous mix of garage, punk and good ol’ fashioned rock n’ roll. Consisting of visual artist Ronald Caringal at the writing helm, guitar and vocals, Nelson Dorol on bass, Rowel Samarita on drums and the addition of Sean Dorol on guitars. They are off with their winning ways of catchy hooks, pounding drum and bass, roaring guitars, and hyper-energetic wails.

From the first track “Let’s Go!”, the band issues a call to arms in preparation of what’s to come - sonic barrage of tracks ranging from the wild titular track, the heart-stomping “Breakdown”, the all too raw emotions of “Dirty Laundry”, the defiant generational chant of “I Don’t Care What You Think”, the sonic punch of “Bruises”, the rock n’roll homage of “Shiny Guitar” to the resounding danger of “Fog Of War”. Twelve songs on full auto. That is what’s in store.

Track after track of simple, straight up adrenaline-fueled rock n’ roll complete this debut album. With “I’m Your Dog”, ah_f_kit! proves that old dogs can learn new tricks - and then some.
