SYMPHONY OF THE ENSEMBLE
TRP 52 Chorale Competition

In the sea of colored lights and velvet waves, the stage gathers us once more, drawing us in by the allure of the symphony and the echoes of ovation. As the curtains rise and lights beam down, voices begin to echo, blending into a synergistic, harmonic, and grand sound. This yearโ€™s chorale competition celebrates the collectiveโ€” the spirit of people standing as one, in concert, harmony, and empathy.

โ€œSymphony of the Ensembleโ€ reminds us of the orchestra of people who come from different backgrounds and carry unique sounds, stories, and struggles. From the magical harmonies of UPCM Classes 2030, 2029, and 2028 to the breathtaking brilliance of the UP MedChoir, every note commanded a standing ovation, turning a night of competition into a timeless, resounding triumph.

Healing through music has been the guiding compass of UP MedChoir in every performance it undertakes. In an effort to stay true to this principle, the choir has held benefit concerts, ward carols, and Valentine serenades for the patients of the Philippine General Hospital, cognizant of the inexplicable but visceral power of music to free the mind, touch the heart, and heal the soul.

Witness the UP Medicine Choir as they command the center stage, following their tribute to last year's winning batch with a powerful and evocative rendition of "Bahay" by Gary Granada.
