DAVAO BYPASS | BUILD, BUILD, BUILD CONSTRUCTION PROJECT UPDATE

The DCBCP Package I-1 involves the construction of the following:
7.90 km of road (PCCP);
3 pairs of 500-ln.m bridges;
2 underpasses;
2 overpasses;
15 box culverts (waterway);
4 at grade road crossings; and
2.30 km main tunnel.

The Package starts at the Davao-Digos Section of the Pan-Philippine Highway, Barangay Sirawan, approximately 500 meters south of Lipadas Bridge in Toril, Davao City. It will traverse through 11 barangays before it proceeds to the tunnel section in Barangay Magtuod (south portal) up to the tunnel section in Barangay Waan (north portal).

After the tunnel, road alignment continues across 9 barangays, until it intersects with the Davao-Agusan National Highway in Barangay J.P. Laurel, Panabo City, where the alignment will terminate.
The project aims to contribute to the overall economic and social development in Mindanao by improving its transport logistics and mitigating congestion in Davao City.
