The shift to online classes is in accordance with Executive Order No. 12, Series of 2025, which mandates the automatic transition to online modality once the heat index reaches the danger level.

𝗝𝗨𝗦𝗧 𝗜𝗡 | All classes at the PUP - Sta. Mesa Campus are set to shift to online modality tomorrow, May 23, following the latest heat index forecast released by DOST-PAGASA,.

The forecast marks a danger-level heat index for the area, with temperature reaching 42°C, prompting safety precautions against prolonged heat exposure.

The shift to online classes is in accordance with Executive Order No. 12, Series of 2025, which mandates the automatic transition to online modality once the heat index reaches the danger level.

Under the said policy, face-to-face classes are effectively prohibited during danger-level heat index conditions, even without a separate suspension announcement from the institution. Students and faculty members are advised to monitor official advisories and prepare for online class arrangements.
