The Patrol System

Twenty-three (23) Scouts from the Ticket to Life (TTL) Manila St. John Bosco Scout Troop attended the troop meeting held on 11 July 2026.

During the meeting, the Scouts learned about the Patrol System and the important roles and responsibilities of each Patrol member. Through a variety of group activities and team-building games, they gained a deeper understanding of the value of teamwork, leadership, cooperation, and the contribution of every member toward achieving the Patrol's goals.

The activities reinforced that every Scout has a meaningful role to play and that a strong Patrol is built on mutual support, responsibility, and unity.

Board of Review for Ticket To Life Manila Scout Troop

Today, June 27, 2026, the Ticket To Life Manila Scout Troop held its Board of Review. Twenty-one Young Scouts and fifteen Senior Scouts took this important step as they demonstrated their readiness to advance to the next level of their Scouting journey.

Facilitated by dedicated Rover Scouts and Adult Leaders, the Board of Review serves not only as an assessment but also as an opportunity to inspire, mentor, and encourage the next generation.

Throughout the review, the Scouts were expected to share the knowledge, skills, and experiences they have gained through Scouting while demonstrating their growth, character, and preparedness for the greater responsibilities and challenges that lie ahead.

🌿✨ 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 ✨🌿

We successfully conducted the 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 𝗧𝗶𝗰𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗶𝗹𝗮 𝗔𝗻𝗻𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽 from 27 April to 1 May 2026 at the Boy Scouts of the Philippines Camp, Mt. Makiling, Los Baños, Laguna, with the theme “𝗔 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵, 𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗕𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱.”

The five-day camp was designed to 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗿𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀. A total of 𝟑𝟔 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 (𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀), 𝟗 𝗥𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝟓 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 participated in this memorable experience. The activities were primarily facilitated by the Rover Scouts, with the guidance, supervision, and support of the Scout Leaders, providing an excellent opportunity for youth-led learning and leadership development.

Throughout the camp, we immersed ourselves in a wide range of educational and outdoor activities where learning truly came alive. Together, we practiced ropework, pioneering, first aid, navigation, survival skills, swimming and rescue techniques, rappelling, and nature hiking. Beyond skills development, we also strengthened friendships and built lasting memories through cultural presentations, team-building games, and inspiring campfire programs that fostered unity, creativity, and Scout spirit.

The camp was also honored by the visit of 𝗖𝗲𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗚. 𝗧𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻, Secretary General of the BSP, and 𝗗𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗱 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝘂𝘇𝗮, whose presence encouraged and inspired the participants to continue living the values and ideals of Scouting.

Indeed, the 2026 Ticket to Life Manila Annual Summer Camp was more than just an outdoor adventure—it was a meaningful journey of growth, leadership, learning, and brotherhood that will continue to inspire all who participated. 🌿🏕️🔥⚜️
