Metropolitan Medical Center's Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, together with College of Physical Therapy celebrate National Disability Prevention and Rehabilitation Week last July 23 and 24, 2015 with theme, "Health and Wellness Opportunities for Persons with Disabilities Towards an Inclusive Development for all."

The celebration started with a lay forum entitled, "Rehab Health Watch" at the Atrium of the hospital with topics on Pain and Arthritis, Therapeutic Exercises for Arthritis, Stroke Rehabilitation, Tips for Health and Wellness and Nutrition for Post Stroke Patients. During its second day, a scientific conference, entitled "Multidisciplinary Team Approach and Beyond" was held at the 7th floor, Conference Room of Metropolitan Medical Center.

The celebration ended with a lecture from Dorothy O. Dy Ching Bing, M.D., Head of Department of Rehabilitation Medicine.
