Nagtapos siya ng BA Journalism bilang magna cm laude sa Polytechnic University of the Philippines at kasalukuyang nagtuturo sa kanilang Department of Journalism simula 2018. Ginawaran din siya ng Jaime V. Ongpin Journalism Fellow noong 2024 ng Center for Media Freedom and Responsibility.
