🌿 Waste Management Leads to Backyard Gardening in Brgy. Marulas! 🌿

On May 17, 2025, a joint initiative by Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila (PLM) interns and Grace Family Helper Project, Inc. (GFHP) was held at F. Bautista Area, Brgy. Marulas, Valenzuela City. With guest speaker Ms. Janine V. Mondigo from the Valenzuela City Waste Management Office, the seminar empowered mothers on how proper waste segregation can lead to sustainable backyard gardening and food security at home.

The activity included an engaging “Planting Seeds in Bottles” session where participants repurposed plastic containers to grow herbs and vegetables—proving that even simple actions can build greener, cleaner communities. 💚🌱
