To learn and be able to play the drums was my very first passion in life. I was 8yo when I decided to become a professional drummer someday. So from 8-13yo, I became "protege" in training under the strict, but very fun coaching of tito Jongjong Asinas, tatay's drummer in Watawat Band na halos nagpalaki din po sa akin. For 5yrs straight, 8hrs a day, ke anjan o wala si tito Jong, I extensively learned everything about drumming. The groove, the pulso, the basics and the technics, pati pag tono ng drums natutunan ko before I turned 14. No one had to force me. And then, playing drums just became part of my DNA. Because the last time I played was in 2017 pa. 😊

My career as a singer, songwriter, gutarist, pianist, yan po ang mga aksidente lol. To this day, drums pa rin ang pinaka inaral ko sa lahat at pinaka mamahal kong gawin sa lahat. 💟
