Qualifications:
* At least 1 year of experience in a bookkeeping or accounting role
* Experience in freight forwarding and customs brokerage industry is preferred but not required
* Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles, practices, and procedures
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
* Strong numerical and analytical skills
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* BS Accountancy or Financial Management or any related business courses
* Certification in Bookkeeping NCII or NCIII
Job Description
1. Maintain, record, and update the 4 books of accounts (General Journal, General Ledger, Cash Receipts Journal, Cash Disbursements Journal) in compliance with BIR regulations.
2. Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including data entry, invoicing, and accounts payable and receivable.
3. Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
4. Provide other administrative support as needed.
