As kids, it was so easy for us to believe in stuff like Santa Claus, Rudolf and the magic sleigh. As we grow older and face the reality, we lose those childish beliefs and just go on with life.
Have you watched The Polar Express? This film is a great reminder that we should not let go of the child in us. Let's continue to hear the sound of the Christmas bell 'til we're old and grey.

We are celebrating different occasions every year. Birthdays, anniversaries, and achievements to name a few. These days are just ordinary days to others, but special to those who are involved.
The Christmas season is different. It is when most people have high hopes and excitement. It's when most of us don't just think of ourselves but also others. It is when the majority in the world is celebrating.

We lost both our parents in December. Back then, I would always save my vacation leaves so that I can spend at least 10 days at home during this Holiday season. I come home with all the gifts ready to be displayed before the Christmas tree. It became a yearly habit. It made me so happy seeing them opening the presents that I prepare on Christmas eve. Unfortunately, they were gone too soon. Now, all we can do is honor them, and pray for them.
Love, respect, and take care of your parents while they are still with you. Lucky are you who still have them 'til you're old.
