A good-looking case can still run hot.
When choosing a PC case, looks matter. But airflow, clearance, and fan support matter too.
A case can look clean on the outside, but if the front panel is too restricted, the fans are poorly placed, or the parts barely fit inside, the build can run hotter and louder than expected.
Before choosing a case, check these first:
Airflow
Make sure the case has a proper path for intake and exhaust. A good balance of front intake and rear/top exhaust helps move heat out of the system.
Clearance
Check GPU length, CPU cooler height, and radiator support before buying. A part can be compatible on paper but still be difficult to fit in the actual case.
Fan support
Look at where fans can be mounted. Front intake, rear exhaust, and top exhaust can make a big difference in how the build handles heat.
The goal is not to buy the biggest or most expensive case.
The goal is to choose a case that fits your parts, supports proper airflow, and gives your build enough room to breathe.
Looks matter.
Airflow still matters more.
