Last week, I offered a free short but "gold" webinar on how to find and close your ideal client. It is gold for me because I didn't learn all the tips I have shared for free and it took me years to master them. 7 aspiring freelancers signed up for it. I got them all organically since the invitation is just a response to a post by a "desperate freelancer" who has been trying to close a client for 3 months with no luck. These 7 aspirants dm'd me so I felt pity and thought they really are interested in knowing everything I will share so they could finally land their dream client. So even if my schedule is full, I did my best to allot a few minutes of my time to create a presentation for the webinar.

At the time of the webinar, only 1 aspirant attended the session. What happened to the 6 aspirants? I don't know and I don't care. It's their loss, not mine. I'm not gonna offer that webinar again for free. Maybe they took it for granted because its free. A big lesson learned for me.

Truly, this signifies that freelancing isn't for all.
