Today marks the 40th anniversary of the historic 1986 EDSA People Power Revolution, a reminder that the lessons that shaped our democracy 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧.

Amid the blatant trampling of history and the silencing of the people’s voices, the call for justice, accountability, and democracy continues to burn. Tribute is paid to the brave Filipinos who fought for freedom on the 25th of February.

True strength lies in the collective voice, used for the good of all. May the spirit of EDSA continue to inspire protecting rights, respecting the dignity of every person, and uniting for a strong and just society.
