A notice from the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS) has been issued regarding the presence of Volcanic Smog around Taal Volcano. Consequently, the affected communities, including Metro Manila, are currently experiencing air of low quality.

To avoid throat irritation or discomfort when breathing, it is advisable for everyone to steer clear of outdoor activities, wear face masks, and drink plenty of water to prevent throat irritation.

Ingat, PUPians!
