On January 8, 2026, the PUP Graduate School students hosted a groundbreaking Zoom bioseminar titled “Bioprospecting the Seas: Harnessing Biochemistry and Biomolecular Research for Global Sustainability.” 🌎 The virtual event brought together experts in marine science to discuss the critical role of marine biodiversity in advancing sustainability.

Dr. Samuel Espino, Dr. Shrinivasan Raghuraman, and Dr. Noel A. Saguil shared their knowledge on marine toxins, venom research, and sustainable bioprospecting. Participants were deeply engaged in the Q&A sessions, highlighting the potential of marine resources for ecological advancements. 🌱
