๐ฉ๐ถ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ ๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ต๐ฒ๐ถ๐ป๐บ๐ฎ๐ป (๐ญ๐ต๐ฐ๐ฎโ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฒ) was a visionary mechanical engineer and roboticist best known for inventing the ๐๐ฉ๐๐ฃ๐๐ค๐ง๐ ๐ผ๐ง๐ข, the worldโs first computer-controlled, electrically powered robotic arm.
Developed in the late 1960s at Stanford University, this innovative robot revolutionized automation by introducing ๐ฑ๐ณ๐ฆ๐ค๐ช๐ด๐ช๐ฐ๐ฏ, ๐ฑ๐ณ๐ฐ๐จ๐ณ๐ข๐ฎ๐ฎ๐ข๐ฃ๐ช๐ญ๐ช๐ต๐บ, ๐ข๐ฏ๐ฅ ๐ง๐ญ๐ฆ๐น๐ช๐ฃ๐ช๐ญ๐ช๐ต๐บ to robotic systems. Its design laid the foundation for modern industrial robots and became the blueprint for robotic arms used in automobile manufacturing, electronics assembly, and medical applications.
Scheinmanโs work bridged the gap between academic research and industrial automation, making him one of the key figures in the birth of modern robotics.
