PLD Residence

Old houses bear so many memories of different generations.
Building a new space doesn’t mean forgetting the history behind it.
Instead, we carry this history along the way and create more memories together.

Resting on a 930sqm lot, a 200sqm 2-story 3-bedroom residence was built.
The design bears a modern design in a minimalist and industrial style approach.
The design intent is to be able to play with lines through exaggeration of length and excessive repetition of lines. This embodies the unity and strength that the family has. It also shows how the family bonded and maintains a firm relationship throughout generations.

The modern design is a symbol of giving the younger generations the responsibility to fulfill the family’s legacy.

The colors used in the design are neutral and earth tones to give contrast to the vibrant and colorful characters of the users.

The overall design from the simplicity of the form to the color provides the structure to be a focal point for the wild and green environment that surrounds it.
