A Nameless Writer's Journal
(January - December 2020)

The year pandemic happens.

The year I discovered or at least the desire to become a writer started to grow.

I realized I loved writing; turning every thoughts into black forms, experiences to physical memory capsule, or simply producing word-contents after watching a movie or reading books.

Writing allows me to relive memories in the past and view its lessons in another perspective.

In 2020, I also started reading more books. Searched authors I could learn from. Watched interviews how to effectively write. And this notebook is an evidence of how I find joy in just writing.

For instance, I even named my notebook as Lily. 😅

HITTING THE GYM 🏀

Hitting the gym in a gloomy weather was extra challenging. Last August 2025, I tried for the first time to go to the gym with two colleagues of mine. A fresh way to spend time with people.

Ang galing lang din kasi ng pagkakataon. For context, we were working in retail operations back then, kaya spending time outside work hours was nearly impossible since hindi pwedeng sabay-sabay ang day off. We had different rest days.

But for some reason, nag-align ang schedules namin, pare-parehas kaming rest day nang Friday.

From then, we decided to distress through sweat and physical activity.

We ran on the threadmill. Tried every gym equipments. Did some basketball shooting—of by the way my favorite part since we pretty much owned the place, wala kaming kaagaw that time.

Then, we ended our day in a fastfood chain sharing a meal and stories.

0003:
A Christmas Carol

A short story of how a rich man (Scrooge), who has all riches in the world yet is an unhappy, hot-headed, and self-centered human being; transforms as he one night met his business partner's ghost (Marley) and visited by the other three ghosts such as the ghost of the 'Christmas past', 'Christmas present', and 'Christmas yet to come'.

Quotable Quote:
"These miserable children are man's", said the spirit. "The boy is crime. The girl is need. They will destroy man if nothing is done about them."
