The Truth our pride hates ❤️
NOTE: It's a bit long but it's helpful 😅 be blessed my brothers and sisters in Christ
We can profess that we belong to God, but without actually practicing surrender, we do not truly belong to Him.
Words alone do not define our relationship with God. Obedience, humility, and submission do.
Matthew 7:21–23
“Not everyone who calls out to me, ‘Lord! Lord!’ will enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Only those who actually do the will of my Father in heaven will enter.
On judgment day many will say to me, ‘Lord! Lord! We prophesied in your name and cast out demons in your name and performed many miracles in your name.’
But I will reply, ‘I never knew you. Get away from me, you who break God’s laws.’”
Jesus makes it clear that spiritual activity is not the same as spiritual surrender. Knowing about God is not the same as knowing Him.
True belonging comes from a yielded heart that desires His will above our own.
1. Surrender to the Holy Spirit
We are called to surrender to the guidance of the Holy Spirit and let go of what we think we know. The mystery of the Holy Spirit is far beyond our understanding, yet He is our Helper, Teacher, and Guide.
John 16:13
“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth.”
Romans 8:14
“For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God.”
Jesus Himself rejoiced in the Holy Spirit and lived in complete dependence on the Father.
Luke 10:21
“At that time Jesus, full of joy through the Holy Spirit, said, ‘I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth…’”
We are invited to rejoice in His presence, to be excited about God, not merely informed about Him. A surrendered heart delights in being led, even when the path is unfamiliar.
2. Surrender Your Will
We must surrender our will and submit to the will and plans of the Heavenly Father. God’s plans are perfect and good—but not always aligned with what we think is good.
Isaiah 55:8–9
“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord.
Romans 12:2
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s Will is, His good, pleasing and perfect will.”
God is holy, His wisdom is profound, and His righteousness cannot be selectively accepted. We cannot willfully reject His truth and still claim to belong to Him.
John 14:15
“If you love me, keep my commands.”
3. A Call to Reverence and Humility
We live in a generation that often lacks real reverence for God and His will. We redefine truth, elevate personal opinion, and play God—believing that what feels right must be right.
Proverbs 14:12
“There is a way that appears to be right, but in the end it leads to death.”
Judges 21:25
“Everyone did what was right in his own eyes.”
It is time to surrender our intellect, pride, and self-righteousness to God to become empty so that He can fill us with Himself and His wisdom.
James 4:6–7
“God opposes the proud but shows favor to the humble. Submit yourselves, then, to God.”
4. Becoming Childlike
When we surrender fully, we learn how to have a childlike, humble heart. One that trusts without needing control.
Matthew 18:3–4
“Unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”
In this humility, we learn how to truly love, how to genuinely be kind, and how to live a life marked by peace.
Galatians 5:22–23
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.”
Isaiah 26:3
“You will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast, because they trust in you.”
True peace is not found in self-rule, but in surrender. True belonging is not proven by what we say, but by a life yielded to God’s will.

The Walk of Faithfulness: World vs. The WORD ❤️
Every day, we are faced with a choice.
1. To walk according to the world or
2. To walk according to the WORD. (The TRUTH of GOD)
The world tells us to chase success, comfort, and recognition, promising fulfillment through things that will one day fade. (Death can take away)
But GOD'S WORD calls us to something deeper, and it is
- FAITHFULNESS
- OBEDIENCE, and
- SURRENDER. (Daily)
JESUS did not offer a life built on self-preservation, but one rooted in SACRIFICE and TRUTH.
“If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Gospel, you will save it.” (Mark 8:35,)
To walk faithfully is to let go of what pleases the flesh and cling to what honors GOD.
Yet many claim to know CHRIST while still living by worldly standards, seeking gain over godliness, comfort over conviction.
“My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me.” (Hosea 4:6)
The WORD reminds us that true life is not found in what we gain, but in Who we follow.
“Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let GOD transform you into a new person by changing the way you think.” (Romans 12:2)
Faithfulness is not a moment..
It is a daily walk. And only the path shaped by the Word leads to life. ❤️

PAIN IS A DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD
The Bible never promises a pain-free life. In fact, it shows us that pain can be holy when surrendered. Pain, when placed in God’s hands, becomes a teacher. It humbles us, refines us, and shapes us into who He is calling us to be.
“Consider it pure joy… whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.”
— James 1:2–3
Surrendered pain turns into wisdom. It becomes a testimony. What once hurt us becomes the very place God shows His power and grace.
Jesus Himself understands pain deeply. Scripture calls Him “a Man of Sorrows, acquainted with grief” (Isaiah 53:3).
Jesus endured rejection, judgment, betrayal, and the agony of the cross. Though HE IS FULLY GOD, He walked this earth fully in the FLESH and in that flesh, He never stopped seeking the Father. He withdrew often to pray, asking for guidance, strength, and alignment with God’s will.
EVEN IN SUFFERING, JESUS SURRENDERED.
But pain that is held onto… pain that is hidden, denied, or nursed in SILENCE becomes trauma. Unsurrendered pain exhausts us. It spills onto others. It hardens hearts, strains relationships, and clouds discernment.
The enemy thrives in unsurrendered pain. He magnifies it. He twists it. He uses it to create confusion and chaos even in places meant for God’s peace.
“The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy.”
— John 10:10
God never intended pain to be our home only a passage.
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
— Psalm 147:3
If you’re hurting, don’t carry it alone. Lay it down. Let God touch the wound, not just the surface. Let Him turn your pain into purpose and your scars into a story of redemption.
Healing begins where surrender starts.
