April 12, 2026, major fire broke out at a Residential Area in Zone Tamatis, Brgy. Paknaan, Mandaue City on Sunday dawn damaging multiple houses and affected hundreds of individuals. , Shemberg with Benson U. Dakay Foundation where on the ground in Paknaan to support our brothers and sisters affected by the recent fire. We know that in the aftermath of a disaster, even the most basic items become a luxury.

We are distributing:

🍱Packed Lunches – To provide immediate nourishment and energy.

🫙 Empty White Containers – For clean water storage and organizing what’s left of their belongings.

The Bureau of Fire Protection Central Visayas spearheaded by 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐋 𝐓𝐑𝐀𝐉𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐒 𝐉𝐑, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director with the BFP Mandaue City personnel under the guidance of 𝐅𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐀𝐋𝐕𝐈𝐍 𝐀 𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐈𝐎𝐍, City Fire Marshal, conducted Fire Safety Drill & First Aid Support at 𝐒𝐇𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐆 𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐆𝐔𝐌𝐒 𝐂𝐎𝐑𝐏𝐎𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍 in Brgy. Paknaan, Mandaue City.
