Hi Crunchiesz,
Thank you so much for stopping by my store page! I’m truly excited to share something incredibly close to my heart with you. CUYA isn’t just oil, spices and garlic—it’s a tribute, a story, and a flavor-packed expression of love. Whether you're here out of curiosity or craving that extra spark for your meals, I hope you find something special that speaks to both your taste buds and your heart.
CUYA Chili Garlic Crunchiesz is a handcrafted blend made with love, heat, and heart. Inspired by my late brother and my passion for cooking, this jar adds a bold, flavorful kick to any dish—turning everyday meals into something extra special.
What sets us apart? We crafted three different garlic crunchies in different level in every jar. Each one adding its own texture and for a truly unforgettable flavor experience.
For every jar purchased, we donate to animal shelters and help stray animals by providing essential dog and cat food—because love and care should always be shared.
The Meaning Behind "CUYA"
1. A Tribute to My Kuya
In Tagalog, kuya means “older brother.” It’s a word filled with respect, warmth, and affection—and that’s exactly how I remember my brother. Naming my brand CUYA is my way of honoring him. He was my protector, my friend-enemy, my guide, and my constant source of strength. Through this brand, I carry his spirit forward in every jar, as a living tribute to the love we shared.
2. A Symbol of Abundance and Flavor
"Cuya" also has roots in Hokkien Chinese, where it means “prosperous” or “abundant.” That meaning resonates deeply with me. I’ve always loved to cook, and I believe every meal should feel a little extra special—full of flavor, richness, and heart. This chili oil isn’t just a condiment; it’s an invitation to experience joy, warmth, and abundance in every bite.
3. A New Beginning from the Heart
Interestingly, “Cuya” as a surname also traces back to the Basque region, where it’s believed to mean “cradle” or “crib”—a symbol of beginnings and nurturing. That’s what this journey has been for me:
A new beginning, born from grief but filled with purpose. Through CUYA, I pour my love for food, cooking—and for my brother—into something meaningful I can share with the world. 🧡🧡🧡
