ππ-ππ-ππππ || A fruitful day at AMIA Village! πβ¨
The Del Pilar Cacao Growers Association (DELPICAGRAS), through the ADAPTATION AND MITIGATION INITIATIVES IN AGRICULTURE (AMIA) Program, successfully harvested 109 kilos of tilapia at Sitio Mahan-ob, Brgy. Del Pilar, Manay, Davao Oriental. Under the guidance of the Municipal Agriculturist Mr. Renerio M. Tumambing and with the strong support and leadership of Municipal Mayor Hon. Jon Marco Dayanghirang, highlighting the local governmentβs commitment to sustainable aquaculture and community development.
This accomplishment contributes to improved local livelihoods, enhanced food security, and the promotion of best practices in fish farming. The collaborative efforts of the AMIA Program and the Del Pilar Cacao Growers Association demonstrate the positive impact of structured agricultural support programs in strengthening rural communities.
