𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦: The College of Science (CS) of Bulacan State University (BulSU) held its One-Day International Lecture Session, bringing together students, faculty members, and academic leaders for an afternoon of learning and collaboration at the BulSU E-Library Function Hall on June 10.

A professor in the Department of Environmental Studies at the Central University of Haryana, India Dr. Mona Sharma served as the guest speaker for the event, highlighting her lecture in "Bioprospecting of Unexplored Indian Hot Springs: Revealing the Industrial Potential of Thermophilic Cyanobacteria."

Dr. Sharma discussed the significance of microorganisms found in hot spring ecosystems and their potential applications in various industries.

Moreover, the presentation also highlighted how these extremophilic organisms contribute to scientific innovation while supporting sustainable development initiatives.
