This intimate design reflects the Japanese principles of ma (negative space) and wabi-sabi (beauty in imperfection), creating a calm sanctuary where every element serves a purpose. The house is thoughtfully oriented and designed to foster a seamless connection to the outdoors, opening to Laiya Beachโs tranquil environment and lush greenery.

The Multipurpose District Hub & Sports Complex is conceived as a civic landmark defined by simple, flowing terrace forms that emerge naturally from the site. Curved geometries soften the massing, creating a dynamic yet grounded presence that blends with its surroundings while establishing a strong visual identity within the district.

The architecture promotes movement, interaction, and openness, integrating sports, events, and communal functions into a unified spatial experience. Terraced platforms serve as activity zones, viewing decks, and social spaces, encouraging continuous public engagement throughout the complex.

Rooted in a modern, filipino identity and restrained approach, the design responds to its environment through layered massing, open edges, and landscape integrationโallowing the building to function as an extension of the terrain rather than a dominant object.
