Malay District is honored to be chosen as the official training venue for the Aklan Athletic Delegation in preparation for the upcoming WVRAA. This opportunity reflects the district’s strong commitment to supporting sports development and providing a conducive environment where our athletes can train, prepare, and enhance their skills.

As the athletes continue their training, the district proudly stands behind them and wishes them success as they represent the Province of Aklan in the forthcoming competition.

Our heartfelt gratitude to our very supportive Municipal Mayor, Hon. Frolibar S. Bautista, for his unwavering support in making this training possible. We also extend our sincere thanks to all Malaynons for their cooperation and understanding in following the reserved schedules for our athletes.

In connection with this, the training of our athletes will extend until March 11, 2026.

Let us continue to support and encourage our athletes as they aim for excellence and strive to bring home the championship in WVRAA 2026.

𝗘𝗮𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲–𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟳

The 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗹𝗮𝘆 officially launched the Early Registration for School Year 2026–2027, marking the start of a coordinated effort to ensure that all learners are enrolled and prepared for the upcoming academic year. Public schools across the district actively participated in the program, with teachers, school staff, and administrative personnel working together to facilitate a smooth and organized registration process.

The activity was highlighted by the visit of Sir Democrito V. Barrientos II, Principal-In-Charge of the District, whose presence underscored the district’s commitment to inclusive, efficient, and learner-centered registration. While providing guidance and encouragement, Sir Barrientos emphasized the importance of early registration in accurate learner mapping, strategic resource planning, and school readiness for SY 2026–2027.

Day 1 of early registration demonstrated the collective dedication of the district’s schools and personnel in ensuring that no learner is left behind. The successful implementation of this initiative reflects a strong culture of collaboration, accountability, and proactive governance in the District of Malay.
