What an unforgettable day for the CAS Political Science community! From start to finish, the General Assembly was filled with learning, energy, talent, and unity — a true reflection of what it means to be part of PolSci. 🖤✨

First and foremost, our heartfelt gratitude to our professors and administrators who continuously guide and support us.

Thank you to Dean Arnel DL. Your presence and messages truly inspired us and reminded us why we chose this path as Political Science students and future public servants. 🙏📚

A special thank you to our invited speaker, Atty. Marielle Carla E. Ramacola. Your insightful and empowering discussion, especially about the role of the youth, left a strong impact on us. You helped us see our voices not just as students, but as active participants in society. Sobrang eye-opening at talagang napaka-relevant sa amin bilang kabataan at future leaders. 📣 𝗣𝗢𝗟𝗦𝗖𝗜 𝗚𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗥𝗔𝗟 𝗔𝗦𝗦𝗘𝗠𝗕𝗟𝗬 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 — Let’s Kick This Year Off Together!

PolSci fam, this is our day! A chance to reconnect, meet new faces, learn what’s ahead, and help shape the kind of community we want this year. We’re inviting EVERYONE to a full and exciting GA packed with learning, bonding, and meaningful conversations. 💙✨

We’ll start with our opening program and hymns to officially set the vibe — grounded, united, and ready to grow together. Then we’ll hear inspiring words from our respective Dean to fuel us with motivation as future public servants and leaders in the making.

After that, get ready for the Presentation of Organizational Overview and Plans, where you’ll finally see what Res Publica has lined up: upcoming events, goals, and the direction we’re taking as one PolSci community. We’ll also walk through our Constitutional By-Laws and Membership Fee so everyone understands how our organization works and how each member plays an important role.

Once we’re recharged from our break and intermission (yes, may kaunting entertainment tayo!), we’ll jump into the highlight of the afternoon — the seminar “Sensitivity and Respect in Communication: Building a Culture of Understanding.” This session will help us become more mindful, respectful, and effective communicators — something we need not just in class, but in every space we enter.

After the seminar, the mic goes to YOU! Our Open Forum and Reflection Activity is your chance to ask, share, and express your thoughts. This is the space where your ideas and experiences truly matter.

We’ll wrap up the day with a meaningful closing message, a group photo (syempre!), and the CMU Hymn to end the GA on a strong and united note. 🙌

At the end of the day, this assembly isn’t just a formality — it’s a moment to build connections, strengthen our identity as PolSci students, and remind ourselves that this community grows because of all of us.

Day 2 of the College of Arts and Sciences Week showcased an exciting lineup of events that brought out the talents, skills, and competitive spirit of our students. From the intensity of volleyball, basketball, and Mobile Legends tournaments to the intellectual exchange during the debate competition, our CAS community once again proved its excellence both in mind and in heart. 🏐🏀🎮🗣️
