๐ŸŽ‰ CONGRATULATIONS ON A SUCCESSFUL POLITICAL SCIENCE GENERAL ASSEMBLY 2025! ๐ŸŽ‰

What an unforgettable day for the CAS Political Science community! From start to finish, the General Assembly was filled with learning, energy, talent, and unity โ€” a true reflection of what it means to be part of PolSci. ๐Ÿ–คโœจ

First and foremost, our heartfelt gratitude to our professors and administrators who continuously guide and support us.

Thank you to Dean Arnel DL. Basilio, Program Chair Dr. Nelson Layague, Res Publica Adviser Prof. Greg Roslin and Faculty Staff Prof. John Paul Corporal for your leadership, wisdom, and constant encouragement. Your presence and messages truly inspired us and reminded us why we chose this path as Political Science students and future public servants. ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ“š

A special thank you to our invited speaker, Atty. Marielle Carla E. Ramacola. Your insightful and empowering discussion, especially about the role of the youth, left a strong impact on us. You helped us see our voices not just as students, but as active participants in society. Sobrang eye-opening at talagang napaka-relevant sa amin bilang kabataan at future leaders. Maraming salamat po! โš–๏ธโœจ

To our performers โ€” grabe, solid kayo! ๐ŸŽค๐Ÿ’ƒ

Sobrang gagaling! May singer, may energy, may stage presence โ€” at oo, may Jennie pa tayo! ๐Ÿ˜„ You guys brought life, excitement, and fun to the program and reminded us that PolSci students are not only critical thinkers, but also incredibly talented. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ”ฅ

To the students who volunteered to speak in front alongside our attorney speaker, thank you for your courage and confidence. Your willingness to share insights and ask meaningful questions made the discussion more engaging and relatable for everyone. You showed what active participation truly looks like. ๐Ÿ™Œ๐ŸŽ™๏ธ

To the Res Publica officers, maraming salamat sa inyong sipag, talino, at dedikasyon.

From planning to ex*****on, this successful General Assembly is a testament to your hard work and teamwork. Congratulations as well on your oath-taking โ€” truly amazing student leaders! We are confident that under your leadership, the PolSci community is in good hands. ๐Ÿ–ค

Overall, this General Assembly was more than just an event โ€” it was a celebration of leadership, talent, participation, and unity. Congratulations to everyone involved for making this GA meaningful, engaging, and memorable.

Hereโ€™s to a stronger, louder, and more united CAS Political Science community! ๐Ÿ–คโœจ Padayon, PolSci!

PolSci fam, this is our day! A chance to reconnect, meet new faces, learn whatโ€™s ahead, and help shape the kind of community we want this year. Weโ€™re inviting EVERYONE to a full and exciting GA packed with learning, bonding, and meaningful conversations. ๐Ÿ’™โœจ

Weโ€™ll start with our opening program and hymns to officially set the vibe โ€” grounded, united, and ready to grow together. Then weโ€™ll hear inspiring words from our respective Dean to fuel us with motivation as future public servants and leaders in the making.

After that, get ready for the Presentation of Organizational Overview and Plans, where youโ€™ll finally see what Res Publica has lined up: upcoming events, goals, and the direction weโ€™re taking as one PolSci community. Weโ€™ll also walk through our Constitutional By-Laws and Membership Fee so everyone understands how our organization works and how each member plays an important role.

Once weโ€™re recharged from our break and intermission (yes, may kaunting entertainment tayo!), weโ€™ll jump into the highlight of the afternoon โ€” the seminar โ€œSensitivity and Respect in Communication: Building a Culture of Understanding.โ€ This session will help us become more mindful, respectful, and effective communicators โ€” something we need not just in class, but in every space we enter.

After the seminar, the mic goes to YOU! Our Open Forum and Reflection Activity is your chance to ask, share, and express your thoughts. This is the space where your ideas and experiences truly matter.

Weโ€™ll wrap up the day with a meaningful closing message, a group photo (syempre!), and the CMU Hymn to end the GA on a strong and united note. ๐Ÿ™Œ

At the end of the day, this assembly isnโ€™t just a formality โ€” itโ€™s a moment to build connections, strengthen our identity as PolSci students, and remind ourselves that this community grows because of all of us.

๐Ÿ“Œ So mark your calendars, bring your energy, and join us!
Letโ€™s start the semester with purpose, unity, and excitement.
See you there, PolSci fam! ๐Ÿ’™โœจ
