Watering plants can be very tricky at times. The upper surface of the soil may appear dry and will give you the idea that they need more watering when in fact the deeper parts are still moist. And you definitely wouldn't want to over water you plants. 🙅‍♀️

You can use a device called a soil meter to guide you if your unsure if your plant has been receiving enough water, good light source, or even check for the acidity or alkalinity of the plant medium/soil you are using.
