International Women's Day (IWD) 2025 on March 8 focuses on the theme “Accelerate Action” - emphasizing the importance of taking swift and decisive steps to achieve gender equality. It calls for increased momentum and urgency in addressing the systemic barriers and biases that women face, both in personal and professional spheres.

In the Philippines, a sub-theme “Babae sa Lahat ng Sektor, Aangat ang Bukas” embodies a sense of optimism and hope, symbolizing a future where women’s lives are truly uplifted. This vision seeks to ensure that all women, particularly those from underserved communities and marginalized sectors, reap the benefits of gender equality in their daily lives.

Syndicated Architects believes in the significant role women play in the dynamic world of Design and Architecture. As we join in the celebration of women power, we recognize and commend three key individuals in our studio whom we are very proud of – Jecka Ancheta - BIM Lead, Marie Marquez - Design Lead, and Coelyn Bacila - Team Lead. Not only have they been undeniable assets to the studio but likewise role models amongst their peers and future leaders in their respective communities.
