BHS Scouting Movement

𝗗𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄⁉️
The 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐨𝐫 commemorates the fall of Bataan. Thousands of American and Filipino soldiers were forced to march about 140 kilometers from Mariveles town, Bataan down to Capas town, Tarlac.

𝗘𝘅𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗮𝗴𝗼, April 09, 2024, the Boy Scouts of the Philippines — Bangkal High School went to El Deposito and Museo ng Katipunan in San Juan City to commemorate the Day of Valor.

The El Deposito was built as the part of Carriedo Waterworks which was built from 1878 to 1882 under the supervision of Genaro Palacios, a Spanish engineer and architect who also decided to use the Marikina River as the El Deposito’s water source.

This is an old underground water reservoir in the City of San Juan in Metro Manila, Philippines. It was built by the Spanish authorities in 1882 with the capacity of 15 million gallons to provide the residents of Manila and its surrounding areas with an adequate water supply.
