BRGY. RIZAL FIRE and RESCUE BRIGADE headed by Brgy. Captain Mark Bryan Beran, Hon. Ranny S. Gimarangan, Chairperson BDRRM, Mr. Jhoen Klein Cabrera, BDRRM Coordinator for Program and Operations/ Safety Officer and council, conducted a Traditional (in-person) 1st Quarter NATIONWIDE SIMULTANEOUS EARTHQUAKE DRILL in RIZAL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL (morning shift)🚨

The City Government of Makati, through the Makati DRRMO, Barangay Rizal DRRM- FIRE and RESCUE BRIGADE, has been ensuring that its Makatizens are becoming a resilient community in emergencies and/or disasters over various emergency readiness activities and/or capacity-building events.
This year, the Office of Civil Defense and the
Metro Manila Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council have declared the resumption of the conduct of traditional or in-person Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drills (NSED) which is a quarterly event that aimed to assess the current capability of an institution, community, and individual in their readiness in an emergency such as the occurence of an earthquake.
