Isinagawa ng Cor Jesu Institute of Mabini Inc. (CJIM) ang kauna-unahang Campus Press Workshop 2025 na naglalayong sanayin ang mga mag-aaral sa larangan ng campus journalism sa iba’t ibang kategorya ng pagsusulat.

Pinangunahan nina Ma’am Excel Balinas, Sir Nelson Porras, at Sir Arniel Castillo ang mga sesyon na nakatuon sa pagpapalawak ng kaalaman at kasanayan ng mga kalahok sa tamang pamamaraan ng pagsusulat at pagbabalita.

“If we are a campus journalist, we have a dedication and passion on what we are writing,” pahayag ni Sir Arniel Castillo sa kanyang talumpati na nagbigay-diin sa kahalagahan ng dedikasyon at integridad sa bawat artikulo.

Ibinahagi rin ni Sir Arniel ang “3 + 1 Formula” na binubuo ng pagiging mabait, mapagbigay, at mapagkumbaba na sinasamahan ng matibay na pananampalataya sa Diyos bilang gabay ng bawat mamamahayag.

Nagtapos ang programa na may 47 kalahok na nahubog sa larangan ng campus journalism at nakatakdang lumahok sa Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) sa Nobyembre 4–8, 2025 sa Nabunturan Comprehensive National High School.

Isang masayang araw para sa mga Corjesunista ang ginanap na pagbibigay-parangal sa mga mag-aaral na nagpakita ng kahusayan sa akademya.

Kasabay ng mga palakpak at ngiti, tinanggap nila ang kanilang mga sertipiko bilang pagkilala sa sipag, tiyaga, at dedikasyon na inalay nila sa kanilang pag-aaral.

Bawat sertipiko ay sumasalamin sa ilang buwang pagsusumikap sa mga gabing puno ng pag-aaral at araw na hindi sumuko sa hamon.

Sa pagtanggap ng kanilang mga sertipiko, hindi lamang nila ipinagdiriwang ang kanilang sariling tagumpay, kundi pati na rin ang pagmamahal at suporta ng kanilang pamilya, g**o, at komunidad.

Ang pagdiriwang na ito ay hindi lamang pagkilala sa kanilang nakamit, kundi isang paghahanda rin sa mas maliwanag na kinabukasan. Sa kanilang pagtahak sa susunod na yugto ng buhay, dala nila ang diwa ng determinasyon at pag-asa.

Tagum City, July 12, 2025 — In a vibrant celebration of faith, unity, and legacy, the Cor Jesu Institute of Mabini, Inc. (CJIM) joined schools and religious communities across the region to mark the Jubilee of Schools and Consecrated Life at the Christ the King Cathedral in Tagum City.

The event, held on a bright Saturday morning, brought together educators, students, consecrated persons, and lay partners under the theme of "Hope and Communion." The celebration highlighted the continuing mission of Catholic education and the enduring commitment of consecrated individuals to the service of the Church and society.

Leading the CJIM delegation was Sister Teofila F. Frondozo OP, who has long been at the helm of the institution’s mission-driven education. With a spirit of joyful leadership, she expressed gratitude for the opportunity to participate in this historic gathering, emphasizing the importance of nurturing faith and service in the academic community.

The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Most Rev. Medil Aseo, D.D., Bishop of Tagum, who delivered a moving homily on the significance of jubilee as a time of renewal, gratitude, and hope.

Attendees were inspired by messages of solidarity and resilience, especially in the context of ongoing challenges in education and spiritual formation. The Mass and the fellowship that followed served as a reminder of the rich heritage of Catholic education and the vital role of consecrated life in shaping values-based leadership in the Philippines.

As CJIM continues its mission into the next chapter of its journey, the jubilee celebration stands as a testament to the institute’s enduring commitment to faith, excellence, and community—hallmarks of a truly transformative Catholic education.
