Today, our institute is in shock and grief, as we announce in the saddest terms, the untimely passing of our beloved OIC Principal, Mr. Farraday D. Valenton. The sad news was confirmed by the bereaved relatives last night, November 4.

He served not just as an OIC Principal of the Institute of Basic Education, but was also a Dean of the Institute of Teacher Education in the College Department. He was indeed a mentor, an esteemed educator, and a valuable colleague.

Beyond the walls of JCFC, walking across is a person with a gleamy smile and a warm heart.

He will remain in our loving memory. May you rest in peace, Sir Farraday.
