Driven by a shared purpose, the City Youth Development Office, in partnership with JCI Mabalacat Malasa, successfully organized a leadership training for youth leaders entitled โYouthSync: Aligning Leaders for Impactโ earlier today.
Held at The Glory Hotel and Residence, the activity brought together youth leaders from the Sangguniang Kabataan Federation, City Youth Development Council, registered youth and youth-serving organizations, PYAP Mabalacat Federation, and student leaders from various schools across the city including the IHTM Student Council attended by Vice Governor, Tristan Mary G. Quizon.
The program opened with welcome remarks from CYDO-OIC Ms. Lacel Baluyut, followed by an inspiring message from JCI Mabalacat Malasa President Mr. Rustine Jay Garcia.
The event was also graced by City Councilor Hon. Patricia Anne Acorda, who delivered a heartfelt message emphasizing the vital role of the youth in community development and governance.
Participants gained valuable insights from expert resource speakers through the following sessions:
โข Topic 1: Leading with Integrity: Leadership Etiquette & Ethical Public Service โ presented by Atty. Lian E. Rimando, National Secretary General, JCI Philippines
โข Topic 2: From Vision to Impact: Strategic Project Management for Youth Leaders โ delivered by Mr. Phillip Justin Samonte, RSDD, Central Luzon Region, JCI Philippines
โข Topic 3: Structured Leadership: Mastering Parliamentary Procedure and Building Your Organizationโs Brand and Identity โ shared by Ms. Lani Juanne Mae Puri, Secretary, JCI Tarlac City.
Through this activity, participants were equipped with essential leadership skills, strengthened their sense of collaboration, and were empowered to take on more active roles in youth-centered governance.
We extend our sincere gratitude to JCI Mabalacat Malasa for their invaluable partnership and support in making this initiative possible.
