SYNOPSIS: At 3:00 PM today, the Low Pressure Area (formerly "CALOY") was estimated based on all available data at 555 km East of Virac, Catanduanes (14.0°N, 129.3°E). Localized Thunderstorms affecting Mindanao.



FORECAST:

Mindanao will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or Localized Thunderstorms. Possible flashfloods or landslide during severe thunderstorm. Light to moderate winds from south to southwest with slight to moderate seas (0.6 to 1.5 meters).

Moderate to occasionally heavy rainshowers with lightning and strong winds are being experienced in (Talakag, ImpasugOng), (Titay, Ipil, Naga, Kabasalan, Buug), (Maragusan, Pantukan, Compostela, NewBataan, Mabini, Maco), (Caraga, Baganga), (Siayan, Sindangan, LeonB.Postigo, Salug, Godod, Tampilisan, Liloy, Kalawit, Labason, Gutalac, Baliguian), (Bayog, Midsalip, Lakewood, Kumalarang and Tigbao) which may persist within 1-2 hours and may affect nearby areas.
All are advised to take precautionary measures against the impacts associated with these hazards which include flash floods and landslides.
