Amen

God allows humbling, correction, or difficult seasons in our lives, His goal is not to ruin us, but to restore our relationship with Him.

God disciplines the people He loves so they will return to Him, repent, and grow spiritually.

Hebrews 12:6 says:
“For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth…”
This shows that God’s correction comes from love, not hatred.

Sometimes pride, sin, self-reliance, or worldly desires pull people away from God. Humbling experiences can make a person realize their need for Him again.

“Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” — James 4:10

*“Return to God with a humble heart.”
*“Humility leads us back into God’s presence.”
*“God humbles us to bring us closer to Him.”
*“A humble heart draws near to God.”
*“Come back to God in repentance and humility.”

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray… and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven.” — 2 Chronicles 7:14

Amen

When life becomes unstable—through problems, temptation, loss, fear, or pressure from the world—you should not let go of your trust in God. Instead, you remain spiritually steady by staying close to Him.

1. “Though the world may shake you”
This refers to the challenges of life:
problems in family or finances
temptation or sin
persecution or opposition
emotional struggles
The Bible acknowledges that believers will face trouble. For example:
John 16:33 — “In this world you will have tribulation.”

2. “Stay close to God”
This means maintaining your relationship with God through:
prayer
reading Scripture
obedience
worship
When you stay close to God, you are not relying only on yourself but on His strength.
James 4:8 — “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”

3. “Hold your solid ground”
This means:
don’t give up your faith
stay firm in what you believe
remain spiritually strong even under pressure
Ephesians 6:13 — “Stand your ground…”
