Who would have thought that a newly-issued Policy for a supposedly healthy 25-year old person would soon be claimed? The Policy was issued on April 12, 2026 then came April 20 when the Insured suddenly passed away, apparently from stroke. It's just an 8-day old Policy and the premium paid was only for 1 month - P3,000.00. Automatically, the death falls within the 2-year contestability period but the claim was approved on May 29, 2026.

The whole process didn't take long. The Insured provided 3,000,000.00 for the family left behind.
Just a tip when getting an insurance. The younger the Insured applies for one, the higher the coverage is for a lower premium. So I always say this to the people I talk to, to take advantage of your young age and current good health condition. If you have the means to buy one, then go get one right away. You never know what's coming in the next bend.
