Unsent Letters 019

Dear Haha,

Thank you for writing to me and sharing such a heartfelt and honest letter. It takes a lot of strength and courage to put your feelings into words, and I’m grateful you trusted me with your thoughts.

It’s completely okay to feel tired, confused, or even lost at times. What you’re going through is valid — your pain, your questions, and even your longing for freedom.

You’re not alone in this journey, kahit minsan pakiramdam mo ay nag-iisa ka. And even though being independent has been your strength for so long, it doesn’t erase your right to ask for help. Hindi mo kailangang pasanin ang lahat mag-isa — iba-iba tayo at may kanya-kanya tayong takbo.

There is hope, Haha. Your feelings don’t make you any less strong; in fact, they show how human and brave you are. Little by little, you’ll find the peace and support you need.

With love,
Ate girl

Dear Cute na O at,

Hey, I get what you’re feeling, and it’s normal. Sometimes when grades or achievements get posted, it feels like extra pressure even if no one is telling us directly. It’s not a small thing because it stays in your head and makes you worry more.

But honestly, you’re not alone. A lot of us feel that too, we just don’t always say it. What matters is you’re still trying and giving effort, even if you don’t always see it in grades or posts. That already shows you care about what you’re doing.

Maybe what can help is to focus on your own small wins, like passing something hard, finishing a task, or just showing up. Those things count, even if they’re not posted online. And if it gets too heavy, you can always open up to someone you trust. Sometimes sharing it makes it feel lighter.

Don’t be too hard on yourself, okay? You don’t need to be perfect just to prove your worth. You’re already doing good, even if you don’t always see it right away.

With love,
Ate Girl

Dear Pink,

Hey Pink, I just want to say I really admire you for being so true to your feelings. Not everyone has the guts to admit when they care that much. It shows how real you are and how loyal your heart is, and honestly, that’s something rare nowadays.

I know it hurts when you give so much and it feels like the other person doesn’t see it the same way. It makes you question yourself sometimes, but there’s nothing wrong with you. Some people just can’t love the way we do, and that’s not your fault. Your feelings are valid, even if they don’t return them the way you hoped.

And it’s okay if it still hurts, or if you’re not ready to let go yet. Healing doesn’t follow a timeline. While you’re going through it, just don’t forget about yourself. Spend more time with the people and the things that remind you you’re enough. Because you are. The right person won’t ever make you wonder if you matter. They’ll make it clear without you even asking.

You’ve got a beautiful heart, Pink. Please don’t let this situation make you forget that.

"Sometimes the wrong people stay in our lives to remind us of the kind of love we deserve, and sometimes God moves them out of the way because He knows something better is coming."

With love,
Ate Girl

Dear Goddess,

Hello! I understand your feelings and the difficulties you're experiencing right now. You're brave and strong; you've handled the pressure of the sudden transition in your academics very well. It's difficult to find yourself in a position where you’re pushing yourself to the limits until you're drained, even while experiencing external stress and pressure that aren’t caused by academics itself. Those two combined are what push us to our breaking points and even make us become someone we don’t even recognize in the eyes of our classmates and others.

But heads up! I'm here to hear you out and give you words that may put your mind at ease. It's difficult to handle being someone you didn’t know you could be before, along with its difficult responsibilities and grades that everyone expects you to maintain. But I want you to know that I'm glad you stepped up and promised yourself to be better.

I understand the pressure and stress that the transition brings from being an average student to becoming an achiever students and it's something that's difficult to do yet you managed to do so! Believe that everything will work out—it’s okay not to satisfy everyone's expectations. It’s yourself you should worry about. If your body shows signs that it can’t handle the overloading pressure and stress anymore, take a break, rest, and recover. I understand the feeling of the sudden transition and how difficult it is to maintain especially if it's being someone you're not used to yet but I want you to know that it will slowly process in you, everyone has their own pace. It's okay to be left behind if it means catching your breath, you will come back stronger than ever. Remember, rest when it’s draining. I suggest you take it easy, take a deep breath and everything will be just fine. You got this!

With love,
Ate Girl
