On 09 January 2026, ROTC training has formally started its First Training Day in Second Semester. Military Training Instructors (MTI) from the 3rd Air Reserve Center (3rd ARCen) conducted a training activity for selected advance officers of Alpha Centauri Educational System Inc. (ACES). The training was held under the guidance and supervision of SSg Raymond B Guiriba PAF, AM Lemar D Mayos PAF, and AM Jayson B Bariso PAF.

The day formally started at 0630 with a flag-raising ceremony, followed by attendance checking and preparatory formations to ready the cadets for the day’s activities. This was done to instill discipline, punctuality, and military bearing among the cadets before the start of the lectures and practical discussions.

An orientation was conducted by ACES Military Training Instructor SSg Voltaire D Manalo PAF, serving as a welcome for the cadets and cadettes as they continue their ROTC journey. The orientation focused on Republic Act No. 7077 and Republic Act No. 9163, emphasizing the vital role of reservists in national defense and security. It also highlighted the responsibilities, values, and benefits of being an active reservist, encouraging cadets to uphold patriotism, discipline, leadership, and service to the country.

The training activity aimed to enhance the knowledge, leadership skills, and sense of responsibility of the advance officers, preparing them for future duties and greater roles within the ROTC program.
