PRESS RELEASE: PSA to First-time Jobseekers: Use National ID for Job Applications

The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) called on job-seeking Filipinos to maximize their National ID in work applications.

Preliminary results of the September 2025 Labor Force Survey (LFS) of the PSA showed that there is an estimated 314,000 new entrants who joined the labor force but were unable to find work.

First-time job applicants only need to download the eGovPH app, sign up, input required information, and undergo a live selfie for identity verification, among others, to access the Digital National ID. The option to add an e-signature to the Digital National ID is also available.
