The Cebu Capitol Public Information Office (PIO) on Saturday urged the public to refrain from donating used clothes for victims of the 6.9-magnitude earthquake that struck the province on September 30, 2025.

“We sincerely discourage sending used clothes as donations. Essentials such as food, water, and hygiene kits are much more helpful for our affected families. Thank you so much to all our generous donors for your continued compassion and support,” the caption reads. (Facebook/Cebu Province)
