Majority of taxpayers will receive further personal income tax cuts beginning January 1, 2023, pursuant to Republic Act 10963 or the Tax Reform for Acceleration and Inclusion (TRAIN) law, which, among others, adjusted personal income tax rates, to make the tax system simpler, fairer, and more efficient.

"The TRAIN law adjusted personal income taxes and fixed the inequity of our tax system. We want our taxpayers to reap the fruits of their labor while enabling them to contribute their fair share to national development," said Finance Secretary Benjamin E. Diokno.

Steps in generating electricity using GEOTHERMAL POWER PLANT

1. Wells are drilled deep into the Earth to pump stream or hot water to the surface.
2. When the water reaches the surface, the drop in pressure causes the watee to turn into steam.
3. Then, the steam spins a turbine, which is connected to a generator that produces electricity.
4. Cooling tower cools the steam which it condenses back to water.
5. The cooled water is pumped back deep into the Earth to begin the process again.
