Strengthening Industry Collaboration for Skills Development

On May 14, 2025, the Supervised Industry Learning (SIL) Partners Meeting was successfully held at Flamingo Hostel, Maharlika Highway, Concepcion Pequeña, Naga City. The event gathered 15 industry partners from the Electronics and DOMRAC sectors, alongside TESDA officials led by Acting Provincial Director APD Roberto A. De Las Llagas, RTC Chief June B. Oliveros, and PTC Libmanan Center Administrator Ronnie A. Arevalo.

The meeting focused on forging partnerships to accommodate SIL trainees from PTC Libmanan and on aligning future training programs with TESDA’s micro-credentialing initiative. This collaborative effort was made possible through the dedication of Mrs. Dahlia A. Cabral, President of the Camarines Sur Association of Repair & Service Shops Inc., and Mr. Malony M. Aguilar, Industry Coordinator of PTC Libmanan.

A formal MOA signing is scheduled on May 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM at RTC Pili, solidifying the commitment to industry-driven training and workforce readiness.
