In observance of All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days 2025, BFP Lasam personnel, under the leadership of FSINSP JEREMY PAUL A ABANILLA Municipal Fire Marshal, activated the BFP’s FAST (First Aid Service Team) today at Old Cemetery at Centro 3 Lasam, Cagayan.

To assess the readiness and operational capability of the station’s personnel in providing immediate response, maintaining visibility, and ensuring public safety during the observance of Oplan Kaluluwa 2025, the monitoring team from the BFP Provincial Office, led by FSUPT ARISTOTLE V ATAL, Provincial Fire Marshal, and FCINSP ARVIN JAY B LAGUNA from Regional Office conducted a Personnel Monitoring and Operational Readiness Site Inspection and Troop Evaluation.

Personnel of this station headed by FSINSP JEREMY PAUL A ABANILLA, Municipal Fire Marshal, has successfully completed the 5-day Basic Life Support-CPR and Standard First Aid training from October 6-10, 2025 at Lasam, Cagayan initiated by the MDRRMO-Lasam headed by RUDY T. URIAN, RN. The training aimed to further strengthen the preparedness and life-saving capabilities of emergency responders in the municipality. Throughout the duration of the course, BFP personnel actively participated in lectures and hands-on exercises, showcasing their discipline, teamwork, and quick response skills. During the final simulation, the team exhibited their elite expertise in high-angle rescue operations, efficiently and safely extricating a victim from a challenging situation. This remarkable performance highlights BFP-Lasam’s unwavering dedication to public service, continuous learning, and commitment to ensuring the safety and welfare of the people of Lasam.
