The year-long battle of wits, talent, and camaraderie has finally reached its conclusion at the Elizabeth Seton School Las Piñas Campus, culminating in the highly anticipated annual Mother Seton Cup awarding ceremony for S.Y. 2025–2026. The final tallies revealed St. Paul at the absolute top of the leaderboard as the Overall Champion, with St. James the Great taking home Overall First Runner Up, and St. Mark securing the Overall Second Runner Up spot to complete the podium.

This spectacular victory marks a historic redemption arc for St. Paul, as they successfully reclaimed the coveted crown they last held during the pre-pandemic days.

The road to the championship was paved with fierce divisional matchups where St. Peter won Academics, St. John and St. Paul tied for first in Citizenship, St. Lorenzo Ruiz clinched Entrepreneurship, St. Andrew led Community Involvement, and St. Luke dashed ahead to win the Sports and Cultural category.

Functioning as a vertical organizational framework, the House System serves as a vital pillar of holistic education by breaking down traditional barriers between grade levels and anchoring its initiatives on genuine student collaboration.

NEWS | SIKLAB participants hold forum for future learners

A SIKLAB Forum was held on May 19, 2026, at the FBA Auditorium of Elizabeth Seton School to showcase the experiences of participants in the school’s SIKLAB program and present future opportunities under the strengthened Senior High School curriculum.

SIKLAB, which stands for “Sikhay, Lakbay, at Banal na Pagninilay,” is an educational and formation program that promotes experiential learning, cultural immersion, and holistic Setonian development. School Year 2025–2026 marked the program’s first international educational tour, with delegates traveling to Taiwan for academic, cultural, and business immersion activities.

The forum featured audio-visual presentations, discussions on the strengthened SHS and KAI Dual Diploma programs, and sharing sessions from student delegates about their experiences in Taiwan.

Florante at Laura ni Balagtas, Binigyang-Buhay ng Baitang 8

Muling kumislap ang sining ng panitikan sa FBA Auditorium ng Elizabeth Seton School Las Piñas nang isabuhay ng mga mag-aaral mula sa Ikawalong Baitang ang obrang ‘Florante at Laura.’ Ang dula-dulaan ay itinanghal noong Abril 30, 2026, mula 9:00 hanggang 11:00 ng umaga.

Naipanalo ng 8-Compostela Valley (8-CV) ang Kampeonato, habang ang Ikalawang Karangalan ay napunta sa 8-Davao Oriental (8-DOR). Sumunod ang Ikatlong Karangalan na nakuha ng 8-Sarangani (8-SAR), at panghuli ay natamo ang Ikaapat na Karangalan ng 8-Davao Del Norte (8-DDN).

Ang bawat dula ay pinangunahan ng mga katuwang sa produksyon. Sila ay sina Bea Bala sa 8-SAR, Andrea Cadiente sa 8-DOR, Amber Gutierrez sa 8-CV, at Veronica Castillo sa 8-DDN, kung saan nakamit ni Amber Gutierrez ang Best Director.

Kinilala rin ang natatanging galing sa pag-arte nina Rafa Esquivel bilang Best Actor, Sophia Lodronio bilang Best Actress, at Paulina Mariano bilang Best Supporting Actress na nagbigay-buhay sa mga tanyag na karakter nina Francisco Balagtas.

Ang Florante at Laura ay isang awit na isinulat ni Francisco Balagtas, at itinuturing na mahalagang bahagi ng panitikang Pilipino. Taglay nito ang mga temang pag-ibig, katarungan, at pananampalataya na patuloy na pinag-aaralan sa mga paaralan at kinikilalang ambag sa kulturang Pilipino.

Noli Me Tangere, Isinabuhay sa Dulaang Musikal ng Baitang 9

Muling nagningning ang entablado ng FBA Auditorium sa Elizabeth Seton School - Las Piñas Campus nang maisabuhay ng mga mag-aaral ng ikasiyam na baitang ang nobelang ‘Noli Me Tangere’ sa pamamagitan ng isang musikal na dula-dulaan noong Abril 30, 2026, mula 8:40 hanggang 10:40 ng umaga.

Ang bawat presentasyon ay pinangunahan ng mga mahuhusay na direktor na sina Third Ramirez para sa 9-Agusan del Norte (9-ADN), Zoe Bagabuyo sa 9-Agusan del Sur (9-ADS), Latrell Telan sa 9-Cotabato City (9-CC), Maya Soliman sa 9-Lanao del Norte (9-LDN), at Laura Taylan para sa 9-Surigao del Norte (9-SDN).

Matapos ang masusing pagpapasya ng mga hurado, inanunsyo ang mga nagwagi sa WSS Morning Assembly sa sumunod na linggo. Ang 9-CC ang nakapagwagi ng Unang Karangalan, gayundin ang mga parangal na Pinakaangkop na Kasuotan at Best in Musicality. Ang Ikalawang Karangalan naman ay napunta sa 9-LDN, na nakamit ng pagkilala bilang Best Trailer and Poster, habang ang Ikatlong Karangalan ay natamo ng 9-ADS na tinaguriang Pinakamalikhaing Presentasyon.

Nagwagi bilang Best Director si Latrell Telan. Kasabay nito, kinilala rin ang natatanging pagganap nina Nikki Gaines at Jaden Tabor bilang Best Actress at Best Actor, habang sina Riley Dayao at Marga Sassone naman ang ginawaran ng natatanging gawad na Best Supporting Actor and Actress.

Ang ‘Noli Me Tangere’ ay ang klasikong nobela ni Dr. Jose P. Rizal na naglalayong imulat ang kaisipan ng mga Pilipino sa kalagayan ng bansa at itaguyod ang pagpapahalaga sa katarungan at pambansang identidad.

Grade 12 Students Showcase Innovation at Capstone Fair

The Grade 12 students gathered to present their final research and creative projects on April 28, 2026 at the Gymnasium. The event was attended by the Upper High School learners, as well as parents, who came to support and see their hard work in action.

The program officially began with the declaration of the opening by the school principal, Ms. Michelle S. Arevalo. Following the opening, Assistant Principal Ms. Cindy Chua shared important reminders regarding the capstone process and presentation guidelines.

The exhibition served as a platform for the graduating batch to display their skills in problem-solving and research before the school community.
