Proposed Schedule of Market Values (SMV) for the City of Las Piñas
Last February 26, 2026, I was able to attend, together with my colleagues from REBAP LMP, the Public Consultation for the Proposed Schedule of Market Values organized by the City Government of Las Piñas, through the Office of the City Assessor.
Attached here is the proposed SMV for Las Piñas City to be submitted to the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) and the Secretary of Finance, for their review and approval.
If there are no irregularities, the public may expect the following:
1) By July 2026 - changes in the values of Capital Gains Tax, Donors Tax, etc., and
2) By 2028 - changes in the values of Amelyar/Real Property Tax (with a maximum cap of 6% for the first year).
