A magnitude 7.8 earthquake struck off the coast of Maasim, Sarangani at 7:37 AM today, causing strong shaking across Mindanao. Authorities warned of possible aftershocks and issued tsunami alerts for several coastal areas. Damage to infrastructure and buildings has been reported, while emergency response teams continue to assess affected communities. Residents are urged to remain vigilant and follow official advisories.

Join us as we come together to promote awareness, understanding, and compassion through our Mental Health Awareness Communication Campaign organized by the Bachelor of Science in Development Communication 3rd year students of Siquijor State College.

This campaign aims to create a safe and supportive environment where everyone feels heard, valued, and understood. Through inspiring discussions, engaging activities, and meaningful conversations, we hope to encourage positivity, empathy, and mental wellness in our community.

We are also honored to welcome our guest speaker, Ms. Zyxell M. Jumawan, Guidance Counselor of Siquijor State College, who will share valuable insights on creating safe spaces and promoting mental health awareness for everyone.
