TEAM GUGMA SURIGAO DEL SUR GRAND PROCLAMATION RALLY | MARCH 29, 2022

LAKAS-CMD has officially proclaimed the candidates of Team Gugma Lanuza during the Grand Proclamation Rally of Team Gugma Surigao del Sur on March 29, 2022 at Tago Gymnasium, Tago, Surigao del Sur.

Team Gugma Lanuza were spearheaded by Mayor Ray Shechem “King” Azarcon and Vice Mayor Charlyn “Cha” Literato together with their SB candidates.

CLP and her fellow provincial candidates accompanied Team Gugma - Lanuza to file for their Certificates of Candidacy (COC) at the Commission on Elections. This is to show solidarity that the whole Team Gugma family is one with their vision to effect positive change in the province of Surigao del Sur.

Team Gugma - Lanuza is led by 2022 Mayor Shechem “King King” Saloma Azarcon and his Vice Mayor Charlyn “Cha Cha” Lipao Literato. Also present are the Sangguniang Bayan candidates namely: former SB member Edmund Jumalon; Annabelle Juagpao Yparraguirre (ABC President); Maria Alili Silvano Butler (Brgy. Captain, Sibahay); Pio Clar Tonera (Brgy. Captain, Bunga); Antonio "Titing" Calmares (retired postmaster); and Mabelle Baes (businesswoman).

Incoming Team Gugma Mayor Ray “King King” Saloma - Azarcon led a briefing for the seamless flow of economic relief during the granular lockdown in P1 Brgy. Agsam, Municipality of Lanuza on 15 June 2021. As a Committee Chairman on Health, he also presided a meeting re health protocols to be in placed to avoid further local transmission in the community.

Did you know that SB Charlyn “ChaCha” Lipao Literato was once a legislative staff of Deputy Speaker Prospero “Butch” Pichay, Jr. during his pioneering days in the House of Representatives, Batasan Hills? She was supposed to work for Banco Filipino in Cebu when the good congressman decided to hire her instead in 1999 when he saw a potential from her. And that was where it all started. Who would have ever thought a little girl from Punta, Habag became acquainted to one of the esteemed public servants in the country?
