1. Pamamaga ng Katawan (Edema o Manas)
Manas sa mukha: pamamaga sa paligid ng mga mata pagkagising sa umaga.
Pamamaga ng paa at binti: sumisikip ang suot na sapatos ng bata.
Malaking tiyan: Biglaang paglaki o paggaspang ng tiyan dahil sa naipong likido (fluid retention).
2. Pagbabago sa Pag-ihi (Urination Changes)
Mabula o may foam ang ihi: Senyales ito na may tumatagas na protina sa ihi (proteinuria), na karaniwan sa Nephrotic Syndrome.
Iba ang kulay ng ihi: Ang ihi na kulay pink, p**a, o parang tsaa (iced tea) ay palatandaan ng dugo sa ihi (hematuria).
Dalas ng pag-ihi: Biglaang madalas na pag-ihi o kaya naman ay labis na pagkonti ng ihi sa buong magdamag.
Simula muli ng pag-ihi sa k**a (bedwetting) kahit marunong gumamit ng banyo ang bata.
Sakit habang umiihi: Pag-iyak o pagrereklamo ng hapdi, na maaaring sanhi ng Urinary Tract Infection (UTI) o impeksyon sa bato.
3. Maliit at Pagod ang Bata.
Mabagal na paglaki (Stunted Growth): Hindi tumataas o bumibigat ang timbang ng bata kumpara sa kanyang mga kasing-edad.
Labis na pagkapagod: Palaging matamlay, walang sigla, at kulang sa lakas maglaro dahil sa anemia (mababa ang red blood cells) na dulot ng mahinang bato.
Kawalan ng gana kumain: Palaging busog o madalas nasusuka kapag pinapakain.
4. High Blood ang Bata.
Mataas na presyon ng dugo (Hypertension): Bagamat bihira sa bata, ang sakit sa bato ay maaaring magdulot ng high blood pressure na nagiging sanhi ng pabalik-balik na sakit ng ulo.
5. Pabalik-balik na lagnat: Lalo na kung walang kasamang ubo o sipon.
6. Pamumutla: Ang balat ng bata ay mukhang maputla o madilaw.
Patingnan ang bata sa pediatrician o pediatric nephrologist (doktor sa bato ng bata) para sa urinalysis at iba pang pagsusuri.

Most people throw clothes in the washing machine the same way every time without realizing that half the laundry problems they complain about are caused by how they load it rather than which detergent they use. Overloading the drum prevents clothes from tumbling freely which means detergent never reaches the fabric in the center of the mass and those items come out still dirty. Using hot water on every load fades colors, shrinks cotton, and sets protein stains like blood and sweat permanently into the fabric. Pouring detergent directly on top of clothes instead of into the dispenser creates concentrated spots that leave white residue marks on dark fabrics. Zipping zippers before washing prevents the metal teeth from snagging and pulling threads on every garment they tumble against. Turning dark clothes and printed shirts inside out protects the visible surface from friction fading during the agitation cycle. Washing bras and delicates without a mesh bag lets underwire snag on the drum holes and lace catches on zippers from other items. Leaving the door closed between loads traps moisture inside the drum and gasket which is the number one cause of the musty mildew smell that transfers to every load. Using too much detergent creates excess suds that trap dirt instead of removing it and leave a residue film on every garment. Cleaning the detergent dispenser monthly removes the mold and hardened soap caking inside the drawer that contaminates every load. Checking pockets before every load prevents tissues from disintegrating onto an entire load of dark clothes and prevents coins from damaging the drum.
